Supporting women
As I have got older, my relationship to myself as a woman has become a more important aspect of my self-identity & self-expression.
Becoming a mother to two daughters has influenced this journey of exploration about what it means to be a woman through all our life stages. I have reflected a lot about what I was taught as a young girl about my body, emotions & self-esteem, which has in turn impacted how I am as a mother & what I want to convey to my daughters about who they are in the world.
By making my interest in working with women explicit, I do not intend to exclude, ignore or belittle men, men’s experiences or masculinity. I am simply stating my fondness for & wish to support women, mostly because I can more readily relate to it.
In fact, I believe that a woman’s exploration & understanding of herself involves all feminine, masculine, neutral and/or combined energies in a way that is unique to her.
